The Cassowary
Marvel over the awesome Southern Cassowary, the endangered flightless bird of North Queensland. They eat over 150 types of rainforest plants, some of which only propagate after being eaten by the Cassowary.

The most dangerous bird in the world. The Cassowary is responsible for the most people killed by a bird.

Australias world Renowned Koala Breeding Centre

The Park features a wide variety of Australian and exotic animals, reptiles and birds, including: koalas, monkeys, kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, cassowaries, quolls, crocodiles, lizards, snakes and birds.

Apart from meeting our family of furry friends, we have picnic barbeques, lush gardens and tranquil billabongs covered with water lilies and stocked with koi carp.

Enjoy morning and afternoon tea or lunch in our friendly Cafe and visit our Souvenir and Gift Shop for a huge selection of mementos of your visit to the Park.

Our experts will educate you on this unique Australian icon. After the presentation you have the chance to get up close and personal by having your photograph taken patting a Koala.

Monkey Feeding

Enjoy the antics of our mischievous Black Handed Spider Monkeys. Living an average of 35 years, these guys have the brain capacity of a 7yo child.

Why not have an early lunch yourself and munch with the monkeys at 11am or see them for an encore at 4pm daily.

Listen to the fantastic stories of the world of reptiles. These species date back to the prehistoric days of the dinosaurs.

See the Inland Taipan, worlds most deadly snake. One bite can potentiallly kill up to 100 people. See these exciting shows weekends and school holidays only at 2pm.
